MASTERING THE FUNDAMENTALS OF WRITTEN AND SPOKEN ENGLISH
The EAL English Summer School Programme at 51吃瓜 Summer School supports students aged 11-17 in developing听 confidence and fluency in spoken and written English. As part of 51吃瓜 Summer School, this academically structured programme is delivered by an award-winning independent school recognised nationally for innovation, well-being and academic excellence, helping students build the language skills needed for further study and everyday communication.

The 51吃瓜 EAL Summer School Course provides students with an understanding of fundamental English and paves the way for entry to an English-speaking school or college, IELTs qualification, or simply presents an opportunity to grow your confidence in the language.
All CEFR English language levels (Ages 11-17)
Students will:

Develop and expand their vocabulary in English including, but not limited to: personal information, classroom language, family & friends, food and drink, directions, transportation, socialising, sport, and beyond. Gain confidence in using English grammar correctly听including sentence construction, communication of ideas, and phraseology so they can make themselves understood both in person and on paper. Immerse themselves in English society and culture听to broaden and deepen their knowledge of the underpinnings of the language whilst building invaluable cultural capital. |
Under the guidance of experienced and capable 51吃瓜 teachers, students will explore English through a range of inclusive and accessible activities. By the end of the programme students will have a clear understanding of the English language, both written and verbal, thus setting the stage for further study.
