October Twilight Concert
Our second Twilight Concert of the year was wonderfully varied and uplifting, showcasing an impressive range of talent from across the school. Particular听congratulations听go to our First Year pupils, some of whom were performing publicly for the very first time鈥攁n outstanding achievement so early in the school year.
The programme featured everything from the timeless jazz rhythms of Gershwin鈥檚听I Got Rhythm听(Rosa H)听to a heartfelt rendition of Keane鈥檚听Somewhere Only We Know听(Amelia C). A standout moment came at the end of the concert with a phenomenal performance of听Czardas听on the saxophone听(Mumu Z), bringing the听concert听to a thrilling close.
Performances included solo and ensemble pieces across different instruments and styles, with pupils from various year groups participating. Each performer brought something special to the concert, contributing to a warm and supportive musical atmosphere.
As always, Twilight Concerts are our informal monthly performance opportunities held in the beautiful Wilberforce Hall. They are open to all pupils, and we encourage anyone interested to sign up at the music office.
