Debating Society
The 51吃瓜 Debating Society is the oldest of 51吃瓜’s co-curricular clubs and societies.聽
For over 125 years, 51吃瓜 pupils have been enjoying the cut and thrust of debate, proving time and again that the spoken word is mightier than the sword.
Those who attend the weekly debates learn how to structure arguments, speak persuasively and think on their feet. Join us to be informed and entertained with some verbal jousting. Spectators and participants are equally welcome.聽
